The movement of cargo through the supply chain and across borders requires the completion of statutory customs documentation.

The Department of Customs and Excise is a State Department that receives declarations from all importers and exporters in respect of the contents of their shipments (containers or bulk cargo). This process results in a significant amount of administration paper work which learners are trained in completing.

On successful completion of the course, learners may proceed to a Certificate in Shipping Practice.
